BILL POETT,     Member,  Board of Directors

LIFE COACH Author,   ABC’S FOR PEAK PERFORMERS;   LIVE AND LOVE FEARLESSLY.    Mr. Poett has, since 1988, studied, taught, and trained with military, law enforcement, and corporate performance experts throughout the United States and Asia.  Bill holds eleven martial arts degrees and is a knife fighting close combat instructor with more than 20 years of experience working with individuals and teams for whom peak performance is literally a matter of life and death.  He studies and embeds many of the same mental and awareness techniques used in successful combat training in the material he presents for successful LIFE training, adding a proven layer of depth and interest to his presentations.

Founder, THE WARRIOR-HEART PROJECT.  Thirty years in development, and created by Bill Poett, master trainer, these breakthrough experiential workshops lie at the heart of a  transformational program and focus on five key principles:

  • Our universal need to heal, re-engage, re-connect with and re-member (join) our hearts, our fellow man and nature.
  • Our authority to self-define and to live a life congruent with our heart’s desire.
  • How to use the Pre-Socratic Elemental Model to create the most  balanced, empowered, joyful life imaginable.
  • Why love must be balanced with an equal amont of courage. This allows us to have our hearts broken endlessly and never build walls around them, because a walled heart is a dead-heart
  • Learning to in-joy each step along the path. To understand that it’s the journey that is the gift, never the destination. That love, joy and success can be experienced by anyone, anywhere, once they open their hearts, eyes and mind to the beautify and possibility surrounding them.

Bill’s greatest joys in life are his wife Robin, and three amazing daughters, Miranda, Kayla, and Becca.  As an adventurer, sports fitness specialist, licensed pilot, skydiver, and ultra-light backpacker, Bill lives by the creed that life is not a spectator sport.

Bill lives, writes, and conducts workshops on Rancho San Julian, the last family-owned and operating Spanish land grant ranch in California. Deeded to his great-great-great Grandfather Don Jose de la Guerra, the ranch is where the family raises grass-fed beef on over 15,000 acres of land just north of Santa Barbara.
